Since I go once a week to water sports, I was looking for a solution because I was afraid to lose the sensor. As a novice you know je ne what comes to you. I first took plaster and foil tape, but attach alone is gar ne so easy, and crease-free was ne possible, whereby water came to the sensor. But has not hurt.

Ordered 2 x the black retaining strap (elastic band) for the Libre 3. Delivery arrived quickly. I wear the band now for 4 days (always at night, during the day I let the sensor "free run"). That is enough (for me) to keep it firmly stuck to my arm. The plastic piece fits snugly around the sensor, holding it in place nicely. The elastic band is easily adjustable and thus always fits well. It thus does not squeeze and yet exerts enough pressure on the sensor so that its adhesive foil always stays on the arm. Thus, these fixation bands completely fulfill their purpose. It would therefore not bother to wear the band around the clock if, for example, you have oily skin that could cause the adhesive to come off, because, as I said, it is not felt as uncomfortable at all. With the Libre 2, it even helped me to glue a slowly loosening sensor back on tightly instead of losing it, which is always annoying because of the complaint process. So if you want to prevent sensor loss, this tape from DiaBrothers is recommended.
